Nugest Agro Solutions Ltd was founded by Oluwasegun Adebayo, CEng MIChemE, a Chartered Process Engineer with strong expertise in industrial process engineering, urea fertiliser manufacturing, sustainable production, and agricultural value-chain development.
With a professional background spanning engineering, manufacturing processes, and agricultural trade, Oluwasegun established the company to bridge the gap between scientific innovation and practical agricultural solutions. His vision is to build resilient food systems by combining responsible sourcing, data-driven agronomy, and technology-enabled supply chains. His engineering background enables the company to approach agriculture not just as a trading activity, but as a science-driven system-linking soil health, nutrient efficiency, and production sustainability.
Under his leadership, the company has grown into a multi-product agricultural solutions provider involved in the sourcing and trade of cocoa beans, sesame seeds, cashew nuts, matcha powder, fertiliser inputs, and other select commodities. Beyond trade, he is driving the development of digital and science-based tools — including soil analytics and agri-intelligence platforms — designed to help farmers, buyers, and institutions improve productivity, traceability, and sustainability outcomes.
